timing on the iop

Post by Raizor »

Is there anyway to time an event to happen 50/60 times a second on the iop? Kinda like using vsync on the EE. I'm writing a sound player and I need to buffer roughly each vsync...

I've noticed AmigaMod.irx must do something like this for timing of the modplayer, I just have no idea how vzzrzzn did it :)

Any thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome....

thanks,

I think padman does its work one per vsync, so there's definately a way...

Wouldn't iop/kernel/include/vblank.h be a better one?
