PMP Mod 2.00 + Network Support

Post by jockyw2001 »

I've added Optixx' wlan network streaming support to jonny's PMP Mod Player v2.00. Works fine.

See this thread for details:

I have as of now reencoded most of my PMP files that before was struggling with the former format now works PERFECT!

Now there is enough potential for a on the fly encoder for TV!

This is soo sweet, I now for real can have all my PMP's running via WLAN...

WOW I am stunded...

BTW. With high bitrate I mean around 700kbs

Best regards!

It doesn't work for me, all I got was a black screen that freezes my PSP. I set up the .ini file and I did everything I did before with the previous version and thats what I got.

n4k: that's weird, did you test your wlan connection? You're sure about correct ini? Port isn't blocked? Do you use the binary distribution or did you build from the source code? Sorry, I'm afraid I can't help you any further.

I got it working, the problem was the net config that I had overlooked. The default setting that came with the .ini file was at 2 which doesn't work on mine. I now set it to 1 and it works.

This homebrew that you updated is fantastic. I can now stream HQ .PMP files from my hard drive without the lag.

Fantastic job, keep up the good work.

jockyw2001 would you mind making a binary with magiK's *.diff file that includes all of the improved version over time... Sorry for making the request...
Also VLC-transcode-streamserver sounds very nice :-)

Great work once again... Keep it up!

Best regards!

Hello

Can u add a network support with this version http://rapidshare.de/files/17591044/pmp ... 2.zip.html

version found here
http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.phpt ... &start=210

Because graphic interface is the same of version 1.2 and zoom works in this version.

Thanks
