PSP Developers Need Your Help!

Post by youngmoneyoh10 »

If you know how to code/program in C/C++ and/or LUA and/or if you're exp. in porting applications to the psp then please join our team. We are dedicated to bringing fun and learning to the psp system and to the homebrew world.

Some items we'd like to get started on are the following:

P.C. Games Ported to the PSP System ~ WarCraft 2, Postal, and Duke Nukem 3D.

::Dos Emulator [Project: PS-DOS] for the PSP System ~ We'd like to make an emulated Dos application for the PSP. From there porting games wouldn't even be hard at all and would make MANY, MANY PSP fans happy!

::Aim [Project: P.I.M. (Playstation Instant Messenger)] We'd like to port and re-code the AOL Instant Messenger program to the PSP and Playstation 3 systems.

We'd also like to take our team members ideas and make them real. We love the happy developers who join our team. We'd love to move on later down the road and take our team members ideas for applications and/or games for the PSP and/or Playstation 3 systems.

Please send an e-mail to apply to youngmoneyoh10 [at] yahoo [dot] com

*Sorry for the you know WEIRD [ ] email address link but just post a reply if you're interested and then send an e-mail. I did this for SPAM precautions. I figured you'd understand?

Also we've revived and want to finish up a LUA game also, called CITYsim like SimCity for SNES.

Hey looks like that website you linked has PSP ISOs for download. Um... is that cool?

BTW I had thought Duke3D was ported already, maybe I was wrong (I don't have a link to it).
Let's see what the PSP reserves... well, I'd say anything is better than Palm OS.

thatd be great if it is! if so, I WANT IT.

Yeah I know they have isos on there but its one of many ways I could broadcast my homebrew work. If it's a problem I'll put it on my own hosting/domain.

I'm also making CITYsim which is coming along good now. I just need some help and it's hard to find for the psp development scene.

There may be a newer version that that though.

I'd offer to help out, but I have enough projects of my own I'm working on at the moment.

How's that old code doing, doesn't seem like much has changed from the original screenshot:

To yours:

Except for the crappy font :p

Always thought this would make a decent game, if done correctly.
