I vote for Tyranid, author of PSPLink. That app is the most useful, and robust, dev tool I've ever seen.

I don't think there should be a top of any developers, all developers should be equal considering they all have skills in specific development areas.
I don't think of myself as better or worse than any developer, I don't think people should start rating devs who are doing all doing their best for the sake of the psp scene.

P.S. Nice to see I am second on your top 5 though Jas0n xD

Finally I don't think such a thread has its place on ps2dev forums, but I am no mod/admin to state that.

True enough, not sure it is something that really matters from a dev point of view, still it is relatively harmless :)

@harleyg: LOL :D Immediatly that page: "You are an idiot - HA HAHA HAHAAA" comes to my mind

@OP: I second the opinion of kururin/Tyranid there. I don't think you can compare devs that way. If you ask the wide user-fraction, they will all say Dark_Alex & Fanjita for sure, while if you ask starting programmers they will more likely name other that do more support/help work or name people that created the SDK, while more advanced programmers will put devs in favor that they can still learn from or did something they cannot do themself.
If I had to do a top 10 list, I'd have big problems placing people without underestimating their real value for the scene, so I'm not gonna do this.

@dot_blank: I feel honored to have gained a place on your list :) thanks

Its sure, its maybe useless to make a top but anyway, for me, i would like to profit from this thread to thanks tyranid. For me (like raphael said its subjectif), its the number one on my list.

Psplink is the better app i ever seen on the psp, the code is provided and is so clear and well made that it's for me an unlimited source of inspiration.

But i always tought that you (tyranid) were working on the pspsdk, is it right ? If its right its another reason to thanks you again :)

Wow, exactly the same thing came into my mind, are we related? o_O

I would actually say that all Coders together are quite mean and sarcastic.. However that makes them the best!

Well both of you have french speaking nicknames, especially yours :

"Cpasjuste" comming from "C'est pas juste !" <=> "It is unfair !" or "It is wrong !" according the context ;P
