Jump'n'Bump 4 PSP | Awesome and very simple game port idea..
Sorry for posting jast an idia, but i'm too newbie in C++ to create anything more serious, then a calculator or smth... (:
BTW, i wanna suggest you - advanced coders - an old but very fan free DOS multiplayer game Jump'n'Bump. Unfortunately, it doesn't run on PSP-DosBox (crashes with the BUS Error), but source code is avaluable: http://jumpbump.mine.nu/ and, as you see there, it has alredy been ported to lots of platforms (Win, Linux, MacOS, FreeBSD, GP2X, XBOX, PlayStation 2...) Ша you haven't played it yet, just try with a friend!
The game is really very simple: only one game screen, simple game mechanics/animations, so i think, porting it to psp won't be a challenge...
It would be also groovy, if such PSP-port suppoted Ad-Hock/Infrastructure multiplayer for 2-4 players + 2 player MP on a single PSP (only 3 buttons are required for each player!) + sp against bots; customisable player skins/game screen and something like a "level" editor (the game alredy has the ability to create levels and the huge levelmaking tutorial, but some app with GUI might be better)...

You can probably play "Spot the difference" with this thread, and the others surrounding it
and easily figure which does not belong.
I'd say, Do it yourself.
and failing that, there are sometimes programmers on QJ that ask ppl to
suggest a project.
This one has source provided for Playstation 2, so I imagine it would be a fairly easy port,
but no interest here.

If not actually, then potentially.

I'd work on it, but I'm too busy with PSPUAE right now. Maybe later if someone else hasn't done it by then.
I did get the source for both linux and ps2, as well as a bunch of levels. Not that I'll be working on it right away, but I'll try to put a bit in here and there when I get the chance.
Brilliant, BTW it would be nice to talk to you via IM. If you would PM those details to me :)J.F. wrote::)Wally4000 wrote:He has other projects too :PJ.F. wrote:Deathmatch with bunnies... cool idea! :) I imagine they don't call the kill summaries "frags" also.
