I'll be getting my PS3 soon, and I have some questions:
What is the best way to set it up? I want both to be able to run Linux, but preferably also test other 'OtherOS'-things. So somehow I want to set it up so that I have the possibility to:
A) Boot normal Game OS from HD
B) Boot a Linux dist from HD
and
C) Boot some custom OtherOS stuff off a CD/removable media etc.
How do I go about setting up such a multi-boot environment? Is it possible?
Also, I will be getting a new 80Gb model, so I guess there is no use in trying to stick with an old firmware? I mean, it will certainly be newer than whatever version it was that allowed RSX access, and the only other known thing is staying below 2.50 to have access to BD-J from removable storage, but I'm hesitant if that's worth it...
