....I wonder if the reboot that occurs is necessary... wonder if anyone can look into that to see if you can stop the reebot that occurs.....it would be a hassle if in the near future one can dowload a demo game from sony and each demo would have to reboot the psp. Probably not... only for a firmware update im guessing.
Well, the current reboot happens as i've removed hex code to make it smaller :P But i actually reboots even in the original file. It's nothing disturbing. its because i used the updater, and psp knows the update is already installed.
All you have to do is keep the exact count on letters/spaces, don't exceed the current. So cutting out the others files...i guess i was lucky, i erased everything just by hand :S until i though it was ok :P lol?

Hi AWhite...why dont you try this..for example we know the path of the Music/Photo/Movies on the pro duo..with the psp/music/songname....or psp/photo/phot image...etc..why not right a path in hexiditor to see if you can get a bootable song or image or something with tht bootable file....let us know. If that would be possible..but even if it doesnt work because we don't know the path to the music or photo app...we could end up booting our own OS with our own apps.
Unfortunately it's not that easy...the executable file is encrypted. the icon and the name of the file is not, thus u c i cannot do anything else :( I don't know anything about encryptions or coding :( some stuff about hex and generally pcs only. If i eve get lucky with any of file while having some fun with it..i'll let you know :P
Hey, I'm not sure if I missed something, but earlier someone was talking about how this dummy loader caused a reset of their psp. I loaded this onto mine, started it, got the psp loading screen, then darkness (<1sec), then I'm dropped back in to the menu with an error: "The game could not be started (8002001)". No apparent reboot, unless its that very short dark screen I get (my power led doesnt flash/turn off either). I'm assuming this is what everyone else is getting, and I'm posting nothing new... but wanted to make sure. You can go back to ignoring me now. :-P
