Tony Hawk savegame exploit

Post by sq377 »

"We have put a video of the v1.5 homebrew app on our web site. Check it out. more updates to come. http://psp.dubayou.com "

direct link here

Dubayou seems to almost be legit this time. The video is questionable, but I yelled at him at psp linux and he claimed
we made a shell code the jumps after the load is loaded that restarts the psp and it boots eboot.pbp. were thinking it sill has the sign in mem and loads the boot as if its signed
Possible or no?

I thinks it's not possible, because the physical memory is clear when the PSP restart. And i think it's a fake.

To put it bluntly, I wouldn't believe a damn thing the people at psp linux say.

That being said, I only took a real fast look but the video seems to exibit some very clear signs of being tampered with. In other words, it's fake. Or at least, I'll give it 99.4% chance of being fake as I'm too lazy to spend more than a few seconds looking at the video to give a higher percentage than that.

His shadow didn't move in the video. I wonder if he'll tell us how to run stuff. That would be nice.

No one is going to believe videos anymore.

You must provide a test that people can recreate for themselves on their own PSP 1.5's before anyone is going to really believe.

Just like the first 1.0 exploit.
