PSP for non-game use
PSP for non-game use
Background:
- I have just been assigned the task of learning about the PSP for a specefic non-game application.
- I've done embedded hardware & software/firmware design in past but never PSP or such.
My first questions:
1 - Have others used the PSP for applications other than games?
2 - Where can I find examples of such use?
3 - Are there other forums dedicated to PSP development I should also become a member of?
4 - What are some common problems developers run into when attempting to use the PSP platform for other applications?
5 - Does Sony encourage or discourage such use?
6 - Do they have a program/outreach to work with developers?
7 - Where can I find a block diagram or schematic of the PSP?
I'm sure I will have more questions as I read and learn. Thanks to anyone for any assistnce that may reduce me reading zillions of web pages as I try to learn.

I think not everybody uses your software tyranid xD. Also I use it :P
By the way there is an excel clone did by some spanish guy. You can test te last neocontest he won the 1º place i think or second.
I even use it! But its still annoying when my app (to be more specific: wlan/adhoc module) crashes cause the whole psp to get stuck, then PSPLink wont help at all and i have to reboot which takes atleast 20 seconds...saulotmalo2 wrote:I think not everybody uses your software tyranid xD.
